Italian

What's some of your favorite Italian food? Can you cook any?

I make one killer lasagna. It's tastey. Italian is my favorite food next to German. I wish I could eat it more often.

I love those stuffed shells, and chicken Parmesean(sp?) too. I think it has to do with the cheese. I am a big cheese fan. The sauce, omg the sauce. MMM!

Italian food is the greatest! I wish there was a restaurant here or something. Needs more applebees or olive garden where I live. But nope, nothing like that here.

I pretty much always get grilled chicken diavolo. Lasagna's always good too.

I swear I was Italian in a past life. My cupboard are full of pastas, garlic, olive oil...etc I make it like every night. You should look up a few recipes somechick and try them out, Italian is usually pretty simple. I started making my own because I rarely get to go out to Olive Garden or Johnny Carinos.

Carino's is great, but I wish we had a Macaroni Grill here, that place seriously kicks ass. Stuffed shells=YUM! I read this thread earlier, made me want Italian real bad, I made spaghetti lol

Well actually lol Farmer's Pasta, I sub out the pancetta with 4 chicken breasts cook those and then cut them up. Kinda lengthy but it's SO good and very filling. Ravioli is pretty good from scratch, you don't need pasta roller like they say if you can get it flat enough with a good old rolling pin. I like to fill mine with feta, crab meat and lobster meat and top it with a sauce made out of whole cream and asiago/romano/provolone. I get all my stuff from foodnetwork.com, I love Giada DeLaurentis and Rachel Ray lol. You can find the Farmer's Pasta and Pasta dough recipes there.

Yeah I just mentioned, the other day, I dont like the ravioli in a can. I wanna make my own and make a cheese sauce or something delish like that. Chef boyarde fails. I've never had crab/lobster meat becasue I dont think i'd like it. I dont like most sea food. Foodnetwork has some delish recipes though. I don't like Rachel Ray cus she keeps stuff bloody. I like my meat well done so I dont get sick.
