Do you live in the deep south or mid atlantic area and....
Find it hard to find specialty diet food? Of course you have Lean Cuisine in the grocery stores and stuff but in terms kosher, vegetarian, or even vegan food? I know the traditional diet of these areas aren't very diet or cultural friendly, but do you hate going to special events and not anything or very few things to choose from or going to a restaurant and always eating salad?
I tried vegetarianism years ago and the tiny rural area I live in just doesn't have many vegetarian options in their restaurants or a vegetarian restaurant.
But I'm trying to be a flexitarian and eating better but I work 8 hours a day in a place that offers vending machines and fried lunches
And also have you ever noticed (no matter how fat you are) you'll still have someone tell you, you aren't fat, and why listen to what society says if you say something about dieting or losing weight.
NOT EVERYONE WHO IS DIETING IS STARVING OR PURGING THEMSELVES. I SWEAR PEOPLE DON'T SEE IT AS AN EATING DISORDER IF YOU OVEREAT OR EAT HIGH CALORIE FOOD!!!!!!!!!!
See, that's the thing about society these days. Most people are very quick to judge a situation based on it's appearence.
My job also had the standard fried food, soda and and muhnchies machines and I'll be the first one to say that, when I was hungry, yes, I want for something out of those machines but, afterwards, I find a way to burn it all off again. Instead of getting on the train near my job, I'd walk over the Brooklyn or the Williamsburg Bridge to get home. I'd get a bus once I got to Brooklyn.
As for the dieting, it's been shown that the results from dieting do vary from person to person. You have to figure out what works for you so that you can either lose weigth or maintain it to where you feel comfortable.

I live in Georgia and I go by a strict vegetarian diet. Meaning I eat no meat or dairy products. It's a bit tedious but I enjoy it. I tend not to eat out. As you said, there are very few places that cater to my eating habits. I mainly prepare all my own food from raw materials, which is a lot better for you anyway. If I am going somewhere I take some food with me so I don't have to rely on society to provide my needs.

I rely on the alcohol diet. You can eat whatever you want, just have a nice dark liquor, quite a bit of it, and BAM! No longer is your stomach plagued with that vile food.
Maybe your not fat, maybe your just chunky. Thick, fluffy maybe?
I'm 5'0 215 lbs approximately, tell me I'm just fluffy

I normally pack my food but I still get the temptation.

One thing that worked for me once was when I was eating 5 or more fruits and vegetable a day, eating low to med. carb, and just less food in general. But overeating is just an issue for me. And of course I was exercising daily.
