Can't Shop For Long Periods

Ginevra is offline
So, both of my jeans [yes, 2/2] have holes in the butt, forcing me to go shopping. I went to Burlington Coat factory, picked out two jeans and got one. I went to Kohls, their layout was annoying and I got tired of shopping and I went home. >>

Anyone else have this problem? I can't shop for long periods, especially clothing for myself. It doesn't help that I don't care to spend money on myself. I just get annoyed and want to stop. Kind of like some of my homework.

The only way I can shop for long periods of time is with a bunch of people that want to shop, but I won't buy anything for myself because I abhor trying things on, especially in front of other people.

You guys make me feel like the stereotypical gay guy, of which I am neither stereotypical nor gay. It's sad because so far my record on shopping is around eight hours with my sisters and four hours alone. I think that was when we got bored and wanted something to do, and the other time I think I was...just really bored and by myself.

I suppose shopping is a boredom reliever for me. I only really do it with people I'm comfortable with though, otherwise I ditch them in like Nordstrom and hightail it to the nearest Urban Outfitters.

Not that this is necessary, but how much have you guys ever spent in one trip? I don't really care if we're talking online shopping or what, just how much have you spent in one trip?

So far my record is around 730-740.00.
I'm going to be bankrupt when I'm out of my parent's house, I know.

I can go shopping for long periods of time, if I am not shopping for my self and I am by my self. I hate shopping with a lot of people because they don't shop at my pace.

^ I agree with him, it's a money issue with me...though I wouldn't be just clothes shopping.

I bought 3 pairs of jeans yesterday! I think it depends on where I shop. I went into DEB in the mall and it was easier than going into Kohls or Burlington. Maybe because it was easier to find stuff cause it was just a clothes store? They also had sales everywhere so I felt a little better about spending the money because it was probably the best deal I was going to get and I need the jeans. Now I need a belt.

And one trip is my $80 coat plus tax, the past couple days borders $200 though.

I don't have a problem with it. If I need to buy something I normally know what I need and where I can get it. I don't browse unless I decide to on a whim and don't have anything better to do. In that case though I can take hours deciding on things. I like to make sure what I am getting is what I really want and that I am getting a good price. And if I am just looking around I look at EVERYTHING. I don't really do that when I am with other people though.

The only exception to this is flea markets. I could wander around one of those all day. I haven't been to one in forever though.

EDIT: Oh... Clothes shopping. I don't really go clothes shopping. I have had the same clothes for years. If I need more I don't expect to be in a store 10 minutes.
