She sits upon the window sill staring at the rain
and with every crash of thunder she's reminded of the pain.
Painted in her memory, he is nothing but a stain.
Constantly reminded her life will never be the same.

Lightening lights up her dreary face,
slowly...she gently turns away.
Yesterday she fell from grace
and there she'll surely stay.

Battered, bruised and tossed aside
left without hope for tomorrow.
Without even the sweetest lie,
her body will shortly follow.
Firmly she is forced to abide
by the men who are so hollow.
Eaten away by the sickness inside
it's getting harder to swallow.

For some reason, someone those this was about me. It isn't. It is just random.

That's what I was getting at.

I don't know though. I tend to block out a majority of things that ruined me in the past...I just realized that a few months ago.

I enjoyed this poem though, I don't think I've said that. And there's nothing wrong with being inspired by personal experiences. I use them all the time in my stuff.
