PASSIVE (One of my poems)

I dont know about your background, you dont know about mine
but most of us all realize were running out of time, no more drowning our problems in some cheap red wine

that planet needs to detox, throw us all in a padded cell...
dissolving all the toxins, so we can face this man made hell

no man can blame their neighbor, no woman can blame their friends
the problems we all face, dont come externel, they come from, deep within

theres a new epidemic of fear, pain and helpless insecurity
its not like before, now we live in near obscurity

our votes dont seem to count at all, our voices are just hot wind
the people representing us, use our lives as cash to spend

I dont like living as a slave, and I refuse to just ignore
but I cant go alone, we need your help to just restore

this country into what, it has never really been
a country that is free, healthy and dont depend...

on foreign banks and foreign policy, foreign crime and foreign lies
we need to keep our sovereignty, globalization? nice try.

each day the world burns, and you watch it on tv
history and discovery channel thinking its reality

stuck sitting on a couch digesting poisons to numb the pain
think everything there is to life, is all just in your brain

and your senses, so your senseless now, and never look within
expect to speak to men in robes, expect a man to heal your sin?

as if some spiritual god, is too damn busy to listen to your thoughts
can create the human race but needs a robe and mere men for YOU to be taught?

but if you wanna call it karma, god, or spirit, or just john doe
the principles the same, even the scientists, they all know

there is far more than meets the eye, and evil men they run the show
but the only way for them win, is for you to just not know

they will stifle your creativity, and take your will to live
barely enough to survive so they kill your will to give

it makes me sick when I think what we were born into, drugs, and mind control
the current state of the system, education and lack of human soul

cant look a stranger in the eye, no-one barely knows their neighbor
constant set of judgements, comparisons, and thoughts of "danger"

everyone will stab you in the back, your dad will tell you when you are young
the nightly news will feed these fears, prescription pills, your too "high strung"..

living in a daze and for side effects we have more drugs!
these pills will clear you up! doctors just high paid thugs

so most dont even try to help, they say they have problems of their own
but wont even just recycle, or buy food thats freshly grown

and then wonder why their sick, and your family is so damn tired
you pray to god to make you well, or just wait to be retired

and the problems they get worse, but with cancer just 5 to go!
leaving your kids with the same fate, cancer rates and violence grow

I think everyone here knows the rest, so no point in negatives
the president is a terrorist, and everyone need to just give!

and when they dont just give they need to take as much as they can get
of their rights back from politics, their freedom from their government

resistance is fertile, to stop the few from controlling the massive
our rights were taken away, stop the apathy, stop being passive ]
