Saw it before Dark Knight. I was the only person in my group who had heard of it coming out, but I have no idea what it's about. And I'm still too lazy to find out, since I'm going back to bed after this string of replies.

So this is good? I had no effing clue, I saw the trailer at The Dark Knight as well. I saw all the comicbookness and was wondering who they were doing... then I was clueless.

You should've asked me. It's received nearly a dozen awards. In 2005, Time placed Watchmen on its list of the 100 Greatest English Language Novels from 1923 to the Present, stating that it was "told with ruthless psychological realism, in fugal, overlapping plotlines and gorgeous, cinematic panels rich with repeating motifs...a heart-pounding, heartbreaking read and a watershed in the evolution of a young medium." Watchmen was the only graphic novel to be listed. I literally nearly slapped one of my friends when she tried to talk during the trailer...and I kicked a co-worker out of my office for trying to make a joke about it.

If I had like ten dollars I would totally go back to Borders and get it. I saw it there. It was taunting me...with it's price tag.
