OK so I'm sure all the Twilight series fans know that there is a movie opening December 12, 2008! Well here is the trailer.

Is anyone else as excited as I am?

EDIT:Ok I was a little excited when I posted this. So here's what the book is about.

Isabella Swan, more commonly known as Bella, moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie, so that her mother, Renée, can travel with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, a "strictly minor league" baseball player. Even though she never had many friends in Phoenix, Bella quickly discovers she is the new subject of curiosity at her new school in Forks, where she is quickly befriended by several students. Much to her dismay, several boys in the school compete for shy Bella's attention.

While sitting next to Edward Cullen on her first day of school, he glares angrily at her and displays extreme tension. This leads Bella to believe that he dislikes her. However, his attitude towards her soon begins to change. He displays supernatural abilities while saving Bella from being hit by an out-of-control van about to crush her into another car. After seeing a dent on the side of the van in the shape of Edward's shoulder, she realizes the van hit him and that he seemed to be holding it away from her, keeping her safe. Bella confronts him afterwards about the strangeness of the situation, but he refuses to talk to her about it. As time passes, Bella and Edward are repeatedly drawn to one another, even though Edward desperately tries to stay away in order to keep her out of the danger that he will likely put her in.

Bella eventually learns from her friend Jacob Black of the Quileute (pronounced Quil-yoot) tribe and her own observations that Edward and his family are "vegetarian" vampires who drink animal blood rather than human blood. Despite this, Edward and Bella fall deeply in love. Their foremost problem is Bella's "alluring scent", which makes it difficult for Edward to restrain himself from killing her. However, despite this and Bella's strange knack for constantly landing herself in dangerous situations, they manage to stay together safely for a time.

The seemingly blissful state of affairs is thrown into chaos when another vampire coven sweeps into Forks and James, a tracker, sets his sights on Bella. Under the assumption that James has kidnapped her mother, Bella is lured to her former dance studio, where James attacks her. Edward, along with the rest of the Cullen family, rescues Bella before James can kill her.

The book ends with the two going to Bella's prom. Beneath the surface, tension remains as Bella wishes for Edward to turn her into a vampire and Edward refuses to do so. The reason for Edward's adamant decision not to turn Bella into a vampire is not yet revealed.

That does get irritating. I know a lot of people want to go just to see what Edward looks like...I personal am curious but I could really care less. I think Stephenie Meyer is a good writer and I think she had input with the movie so I just want to see if the movie lives up to the book. If it does you better believe I'm buying the movie and hoping like hell they make the rest of the books into movies.

I read the books out of guilty pleasure. Honestly Meyer's style of writing bugs the HELL out of me. When I read the rants about her work, I agree with all of it, yet I read her stuff anyway XD;;

...And I PRAY the acting is going to be better than some of the previews they keep showing. *goes back and forth on if she likes it or not*

...I...I REFUSE to believe that she made the vampires sparkle in daylight...these have to be a parody books of Ann Rice or something. Seriously.

Isn't this a book written in the first person in the point of view of a teenager about a vampire who sparkles? Please give me a break...

I'd take Indiana Jones and Tony Stark over Edward Cullen anyday.

So, Greg bought me these books for my birthday.

And I loved them.

I'm a total fan.

Not because everyone else loves them, but because I think they're amazing.

I can't wait for the movie.

And I'm praying that she'll finish Midnight Sun. <3

Eh.

I'm not looking forward to the movie at all..
For one, the cast they have is already a big mistake.. Not to mention that they can't act [from what I've seen in every preview] The only one that fits the book would be James... But still not worth watching..

I do however, love the books! I read all four of them in more or less a week..
It's different from your average vampire story, and it keeps you wanting more! I couldn't put the books down.
