OK so I'm sure all the Twilight series fans know that there is a movie opening December 12, 2008! Well here is the trailer.

Is anyone else as excited as I am?

EDIT:Ok I was a little excited when I posted this. So here's what the book is about.

Isabella Swan, more commonly known as Bella, moves from sunny Phoenix, Arizona to rainy Forks, Washington to live with her father, Charlie, so that her mother, Renée, can travel with her new husband, Phil Dwyer, a "strictly minor league" baseball player. Even though she never had many friends in Phoenix, Bella quickly discovers she is the new subject of curiosity at her new school in Forks, where she is quickly befriended by several students. Much to her dismay, several boys in the school compete for shy Bella's attention.

While sitting next to Edward Cullen on her first day of school, he glares angrily at her and displays extreme tension. This leads Bella to believe that he dislikes her. However, his attitude towards her soon begins to change. He displays supernatural abilities while saving Bella from being hit by an out-of-control van about to crush her into another car. After seeing a dent on the side of the van in the shape of Edward's shoulder, she realizes the van hit him and that he seemed to be holding it away from her, keeping her safe. Bella confronts him afterwards about the strangeness of the situation, but he refuses to talk to her about it. As time passes, Bella and Edward are repeatedly drawn to one another, even though Edward desperately tries to stay away in order to keep her out of the danger that he will likely put her in.

Bella eventually learns from her friend Jacob Black of the Quileute (pronounced Quil-yoot) tribe and her own observations that Edward and his family are "vegetarian" vampires who drink animal blood rather than human blood. Despite this, Edward and Bella fall deeply in love. Their foremost problem is Bella's "alluring scent", which makes it difficult for Edward to restrain himself from killing her. However, despite this and Bella's strange knack for constantly landing herself in dangerous situations, they manage to stay together safely for a time.

The seemingly blissful state of affairs is thrown into chaos when another vampire coven sweeps into Forks and James, a tracker, sets his sights on Bella. Under the assumption that James has kidnapped her mother, Bella is lured to her former dance studio, where James attacks her. Edward, along with the rest of the Cullen family, rescues Bella before James can kill her.

The book ends with the two going to Bella's prom. Beneath the surface, tension remains as Bella wishes for Edward to turn her into a vampire and Edward refuses to do so. The reason for Edward's adamant decision not to turn Bella into a vampire is not yet revealed.

It's not your typical vampire book though. I mean I really like vampire books but this one isn't really like anything I've read. You should go see it. I know I'm going to see it the day it comes out.

I can't wait to see this. I'm reading Eclipse now, and I'm trying to read it very slowly, just because August is too long to wait for the next one...but it's not really working. I'm probably going to see it the day it comes out too.

Yeah I tried reading them slowly...didn't work. So what I do is read all of them randomly and then a few days before the next book comes out I read all of them and am generally done the day the next book comes out and then read that one so I have the entire story line memorized by the next book and I'm not missing anything.

Ugh... not thanks. I'm about wore out on vamps. And that love bullshit. It just looks like another teen book turned into another teen movie. I'll take dismembering lycans for 1000 Alex.

This is the reason I want to smack anyone who mentions this. Teenage girls across the nation, creaming themselves because EDWARD IS SO FUCKING DREAMY. The appeal isn't the damn book, it's the fucking vampire she builds up.

I have to admit I want to see what Edward is going to look like in the movie, BUT the books are really good. If I were going to just see what Edward looked like I'd shoot myself. I'm going to see if the movie is as good as the book.

Argh. Then you don't get smacked outright. I'm just sick of some girls at my school.
Twilight gets mentioned and the first thing that comes up is "EDWARD IS HOT." Which, um...makes me a little peeved.
