The Box (2008 film) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Finished filming last month, seems like it'll be interesting like all of his films.

Premise:
"An unhappily married couple receive a box from a mysterious stranger, who tells them that pushing a button on the box will award them with a large monetary sum, and simultaneously, someone the couple does not know will die."

This makes up for your indifferent response to Southland Tales.

I'm very interested to see how well they recreate Richmond, VA in Massachusetts. Way to go VA, for not having film incentives... or else they could have just filmed here and saved the trouble.

If he had filmed in RVA, I would have probably sold my soul to work on that movie set. Haha.

lol, no problem...if only it'd make up for my review, I'm sure I'm going to be be beaten up for it ;-; I know that the movie's plot is going to be outrageously more complex than the premise, but based on that premise...I'd have to say that I'd push the button. Several times.

Well, first off, it's a couple that dies, and also, it's a couple that they don't know...so...as long as those two stimpulations aren't met, you're fine.

Personally, I hope this movie doesn't involve time travel in any way like his last two films... I hate time travel.

I think it says "someone that the couple doesn't know", so any one person. I don't think a couple dies. But this does look cool. And I am sure that most of the 30+million budget went to paying the actors.
