So I'l admit that I was a NO fan going in to the NFC game and I'm not exactly unbiased...
But does it seem unfair to anyone else when playoff games are played outdoors in the freezing cold in Janurary? I mean, sure it's not the teams fault that their stadium is outdoors, but the stats speak for themselves.
Since 1970, dome teams are 0-10 when they play in the championship game outdoors. I think it's really unfair that the games that matter the most are played in an environment that clearly favors northern teams.
You can't tell me that this isn't a reason the Packers, Bears and, most recently, the Patriots have done so well in the playoffs.
So I would propose that the championship games be played on nuetral sites. The Superbowl is played on a neutral field and so are all the college bowl games, so why not the championship games?
