All picks based on today's Sunday Star Ledger Lines

New York Jets @ New York Giants (-3) - The Jets Defense is worse than the Giants Defense, & Chad Pennington cannot throw the ball up the field. Lay the points & take the Giant victory.
Carolina +3 @ New Orleans - CAR OB David Carr is starting, while NO QB Drew Brees & NO RB Reggie Bush will have big days today. Lay the Points & Take the Saints.
Jacksonville -2 @ Kansas City - Why? JAC QB David Garrard's inexperience will cause a critical 4th Quarter turnover that will give Kansas City the lead for good. Take the Points & the Chiefs.
Detroit +3 1/2 @ Washington - Detroit's offense won't be as good today, & that defense is still a huge problem. Lay the Points & take the Redskins.
Miami +5 1/2 @ Houston - You cannot pick Miami until that defense shows improvement. Lay the points & Lay the Dolphins for dead.
Seattle +6 @ Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh had a burp last week against someone who totally knew their offense & defense. I think they continue to roll today. Lay the points & take the Steelers.
Atlanta +8 @ Tennessee - Vince Young needs a defensive score to cover this. Joey Harrington is playing just well enough to not give one. Remember the Titans, but take the points here.
Cleveland +17 @ New England - I believe that Cleveland can hang with New England offensively, so I was taking the points anyway. But I do believe that the transition on defense for New England with Harrison returning will be just enough to allow that one extra score for Cleveland to pull the outright upset. Take the Points & Take the BROWNS!!
Arizona -3 @ St.Louis - Star-Ledger has -3.5 Gus Frerotte is starting, & Marc Bulger has been available in one of my leagues for over a week since I jettisoned him for Joey Harrington. We'll fly high here today. Lay the points & take the Cardinals.
Tampa Bay +10 @ Indianapolis - I don't like those colt injuries. Jeff Garcia has less INTs than Tom Brady (0 to 2). Tampa Bay's Defense is back. In fact, I think Tampa Bay will win this outright. Take the Points & Take the Buccaneers!!
San Diego +1 1/2 @ Denver - Lots of turmoil in San Diego. They get what they deserve. They won't be prepared for Travis Henry & Selvin Young. Note to fantasy owners: Get Selvin Young. Travis Henry may miss time soon. Lay the points & take the Broncos.
Baltimore -3 @ San Francisco - Who wins this game is the team that gets the early lead. I believe Frank Gore carries the 49ers today. Trent Dilfer can manage a team effectively (2000 Ravens, with the 2001 superbowl win). He's gotten better, while Billick's QBs have struggled since. Take the points & a San Francisco upset.
Chicago +3 @ Green Bay The offense looked worse with Brian Griese. No wonder he's on his 4th or 5th team now. 'da Bears should have gone to Kyle Orton. That defense & running game makes the QB situation moot, though. Lay the points & take the Packers.

Dallas -10 @ Buffalo - Buffalo is not pulling off two upsets in a row, especially with the Cowboys on Monday night. Lay the points & take the Cowboys.
