Football...

Ok so I'm not sure if this is in the right place...if not sorry could you please move it.

So I'm sitting at my step dads house laughing so fucking hard I'm crying. He is watching football. I have never heard anyone yell that much during a game. He keeps screaming "Get up you mother fucker." "Get moving damn it." "Fuck yeah thats what we wanted to see."

He comes in here and tells me that they are winning...why in the hell is he still screaming then?

For some reason I find it quite amusing. Do any of your family members do anything like that during sports games?

P.S. Now hes rambeling saying something like "Fucking assholes...Don't know how to play football in Ohio" He's rooting for the team from Ohio and we live in Ohio...I think he's lost it.

No, but I do this when I'm watching poker. Even if I know the hand is gonna lose, I'll still be like "push 500!" "BLUFF YOU BITCH! BLUFF!"

Yea, I get really into card games and stuff.

At Magic tournaments, if I see a friend doing something wrong, I have no problem pulling him to the side and asking him a question about his misplay. When they are playing and I see it, I have to walk away for a good couple minutes.

Its no problem though, cause my friends do that to me to. I was a feature match, and me and my foe were in time (end of the round, have to play out the last 5 turns and if no result, it becomes a draw.) It wound up being a draw, but my friends approached me asking me why I didn't do a specific move. I told them why, and the guy I was playing turned around and said "wait, I had those in my yard?" Man that sucked, lol.

I yell at the TV all of the time when it comes to sports. I probably get it from my dad. Whenever we're watching hockey games he insults anyone who deserves it, even if they're on the team we're rooting for. He's always yelling "Pass it to the point now. No, too late dumbass. Shoot. SHOOT!" Stuff like that.

Damn near everyone in my family.... myself included I never understood it when I was younger when my dad and his friends, my uncles and whatnot would be screaming, cussing at the tv... then I started getting into sports... and well, I still can't explain it, but I do get extremely pissed/ super excited during a good/ bad play... I think it's just the competitive nature of guys (some girls too... I've seen some get into the games more than guys do). We want OUR team to win and we just get upset/excited when something happens...

I know exactly what you mean. My family is the same way. I think it makes watching the game much more fun.

I can't say I do that for sports since I'm not a sport person. Unless it comes to Judo, and then I sometimes watch short matches. Sometimes I yell, but only when it's a good match.

"She's grabbing over the shoulder you idiot! WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?!?!"

"Sweep. No the other leg you fucking retard! Can't you tell which one is supporting him! Are you fucking braindead? See! You just lost the match asshole."

or,

"Go in for a sayonage! Sayonage you idiot! Can't you see that setup? Hiraigoshi! FUCKING RETARD!"

And then if I'm watching a movie, sometimes I yell at the screen and throw food at it.

On Sundays and Mondays during football season my bf's apartment is super loud. Me, him, his brother and roommate are all 3 guilty of yelling at the tv. I'm sure we've pissed off their neighbors a few times.

I get it from my family. We're big football people and being football people just seems to involve yelling at the tv like the players can hear you lol.
