As steroid-enhanced as his performance may or may not be, I still think that this is a pretty amazing feat. Although he hasn't broken the record yet 755 is a lot of home runs.

Great job for Barry Bonds, that is an amazing feat that I think only Alex Rodriguez will have a chance to break, at least in this generation.

I think that A-Rod definitely has a chance. He's just hit his 500th and he's the youngest to do it. I think that as long as he stays healthy and doesn't get into some major slump, he'll end up with the record after Bonds.

Bonds doesn't hold the record. He just tied Aaron's record.

I know. But he's going to get it. It's not like he's going to go the rest of his career without hitting another one. It is possible, but highly unlikely.

Are you fucking kidding me??? This guy needs to be banned from Baseball forever! I know alot of other players took the same shit as him, but he is fucking with the History books, erasing records that were made by all natural players... Babe Ruth was an over weight drunk, and he hit 714, Hank Aaron was not that good of shape...Yeah sure the pitching is probably better now than back then, for sure... but thats prolley cause they took steroids too.... this game to me has been destroyed the past 5 years or so...

Yeah Bonds has some talent, but theres no way in hell he would have ever even hit 500 HRs! i saw how he used to be before enhancers, he would get alot of doubles, triples, stolen bases...and was very injury proned...he would have never been able to play till the age of 44 without those drugs either...the steroids strengthen your bones, and helps wounds heal faster....

Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, Bonds, all these guys who messed with history should be banned from this sport!

...And another thing, tell me this, how is it Justice when Pete Rose(arguably the greatest hitter of all time) gets totally banned from anything related with the MLB just for betting on games??? but yet Daryl Strawberry, Doc Gooden, and some other no name players, all got busted with crack cocaine, and all kinds of drugs(Barry Bonds) and they get all these second and 3rd chances??? I think it is because of their skin complexion.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with everything you said here. But... although, like you said, Bonds would be no where near the record without the steroids... the fact is that he is going to break the record. And it will go in the history books... So, I'd like to witness that moment in baseball history... u know?
