The BCS

What do you guess think keep the BCS in college football or oust it for a playoff set up...

I personally think it is flawed by far, but it makes college football what it is...if we go towards a playoff it will turn into how college basketball is like the NBA...I don't like the BCS, but I wouldn't want to take it from the sport...it is what makes coaches "heartless" where do we see scores like 63-10 in the NFL?

good point...but my point is that every coach strives for this in college because of the BCS rules and the needed points (BCS points base off of scoring also) to qualify for the Championship game.

I personally think the BCS is rigged.

agree also...I just don't want to see College Football become not as electrifying by coaches working on just winning and resting their players, like they do in the NFL...The BCS has many flaws, but it is the most DEFINING aspect of college football compared to the NFL (which I am a big fan of also...not hatin on Pro Football)

College football is more entertaining to watch, I think.

Why?

In college football the players, Teenage - Early 20's, are playing to prove something. They want their team to win so they get recognized, they get drafted, etc..

In the NFL the players, Mid 20's - Late 30's (Sometimes older), are playing because they have contracts saying they must do so or they don't get paid. Although they say they want their team to win, in the end win or lose they still get paid because they played, now, in the long run if you play good you make more money.

Long story short, college they don't get paid and they don't have it all yet, NFL they get paid win or lose and they cant get anything more out of football.

case closed...I really feel like arguing, but can't argue with the statements... good thing I wasn't trying to say that the NFL is more entertaining
