Why???
Whatever happened to good old fashion tabletop games? They require a bit more brain work I know, but common...
Help me understand this. Oh and are there any serious gamers here (like RPGs only)? just looking for friends...

I think chess is my favorite tabletop game, a lot of people don't know how to play it either... I agree, we havn't seen anything memorable in at least a decade, the last one I remember being better than OK was connect 4, but I mean... that's cool for like what, 30 minutes? I saw a guy play part of his axis and allies game on youtube, he was explaining the strategy and stuff, looked pretty cool, but I don't know if I could find someone to play that with..lol.
I hate that they just keep making stupider and stupider versions of the previous stupid game...like the hundreds of different versions of monopoly...

I'm an RPG player, although I've never done table top rpg, and yeah i miss old board games and stuff. but no one plays them anymore. |

I LOVE playing chess. I mean, I kinda suck at it, I'm still getting the "jist" of it, but it is very fun and addicting.
Monopoly is my secret love, though. |

i like to play chess, but i have no idea about the major strats that big players have.
i check mated a guy with just my queen in 4 moves and had no fuckin clue how i did it lmao.
