Snes
Who remembers the good ole days of SNES?
I remember playing Chrono Trigger for hours when I borrowed it from a friend. At that time he was borrowing my Donkey Kong Country game. Two of the best games ever created I think.
I'd run home from the bus stop after school and into my room and play Chrono Trigger until my mom said it was time for bed. I didn't even take the time to eat. Haha. It was hard to tear me away from that game.
Same with Donkey Kong Country, cept when I first got it it was summer time, so I literally spent all day everyday, playing it until I beat it. I remember getting stuck on vulture culture. Haha.
What are some of your favorite SNES memories and games? Do you remember getting stuck on levels or playing for hours? Post all your SNES stuff here. Feel the love!

I still have my SNES... And I still play Super Metroid, A Link to the Past, Mega Man X, Final Fantasy II (IV), Donkey Kong Country, and my Mario titles...
Along with the Super Game Boy. Let's see who remembers THAT thing.

I still have my Snes also. I have paperboy II, donkey kong country, donkey kong country 2, super mario, and a few other games. I wish I had chrono trigger and secret of mana those are the two coolest snes games.

I wish my battletoads double dragon cartridge would work, it's all gimp. I use to have it before but I sold it and someone sent me this gimp one, and I don't know what to do with it. I think I might try cleaning it or something.

fucking a', chrono trigger was awesome! i love it. secret of mana was good too, though it was my cousin's, so i never got a chance to beat it... zelda: a link to the past was good (fuckin' boomerang, bizatch!). super metroid, loved it. ridley was a bitch and a half, though. nevermind that i couldn't beat the first mother brain form without dying at least twice. megaman 7 was cool, if a bit goofy looking. mario world, hahah. bowser was such a pussy, i had a harder time with the 6th koopa, the one with all the rings. mario kart was always cool, when my cousins came over. so was dk2. i never did fully beat that one, i couldnt get past any of the dark world stages completely.

SNES... possibly the best system ever. Definitely for RPG's... All the ones mentioned so far were rockin but what about Super Mario RPG... That was a great game, Also Earthbound. Not to mention the Final Fantasy Games on it.
Earthworm Jim? Turtles in time anyone? I never beat that one.
Once again, What Happened to games you just COULDN'T Beat no matter how many times you and your friends played it over and over? Gone are those days. SIGH. Just have to relive them w/ ZSNES.

You bet I still play mine. And I still get games for my birthday and the holidays haha. I've always been a huge fan of Mario and Donkey Kong. I also have the thing that lets you play your GameBoy games on there, since I still have those too!

Awesome. I wish I still got games. I need to look for some good ones, like Harvest Moon, Secret of Mana, and Chrono Trigger. Oh yeah and Super Dodgeball. Hehe.

Nice to see some people are still big fans of what I believe to be the best console ever made.
Game production was at it's prime during the 16-32 bit era, Graphics weren't the sole foundation of a game (As they often are now) and storylines could get far more intricate than that of the 8-Bit (Which is also an amazing system).
To this day I still love to play Super Metroid , Secret Of Mana, Earthbound, and many more amongst all the greats.
The best part is, on many old games, instead of just playing them through, you can shoot for speed runs, Super Metroid in less than an hour anyone? Couldn't ever quite get that fast, but damned close, seen it done once too.

I can agree that the graphics back then didn't matter as much as they do now. It seems most games nowadays lack in all area's other than graphics. Graphics aren't everything. The coolest games I ever played were on Snes and Genesis, and NES even! I even enjoyed some games on Atari. Old skool for the win!
Earthbound is a pretty fun game, but I think secret of mana and chrono trigger are still my favorite Snes rpgs.
I stink at supe metroid, so I give you mad props for almost beating it in an hour.
