I'm up for pretty much any games, really. I'm a big fan of the Mario games, though. That's why I was leaning toward the Nintendo DS Lite. I have a Gameboy Advance with a few games and I'm wondering if it's that much different.

i had both a PSP and a DS Lite. I kept the DS lite because frankly the PSP really offers games that ive already played and tried but they make them "on the go" Im not bashing the PSP but i really feel the DS offers that unique gameplay that the PSP doesnt have. I play my DS lite more then i ever played my PSP.
I have the PSP and the Lite and I prefer the PSP. It has better games, better graphics, movie playback, storage space, and if you are out it has wi-fi capabilities. The Lite is cool, but it is bigger than the PSP when open, the graphics are comparable to the Super Nintendo or Sega but small. One advantage though is that my PSP constantly has trouble reading the UMDs and freezing if the UMD get dusty or when it is really humid out and the Lite has never given me any problems as far as play or freezing up on me. Another advantage is that the Lite seems to get Newer games whereas with the PSP you have probably played all the games on a regular system.
My 10 yr old sister has the DS lite, and the games are more child-early teen games, the sims are cool on it and Final fantasy but theres no really cool games so i would get a psp
