Is there such thing...

...as a heater core for a 2001 Saturn L200 2.2L 4cyl.?

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone knew where the hell its located. Iv'e seen a couple different descriptions on its location but that leaves me with some skepticism of the credibility of said descriptions.

If anyone can tell me where its located I would be GREATLY appreciative. I can't stand the smell of coolant in the car any longer let alone the giant green puddle on my passenger side floor as well as the car overheating.....I'm just trying to grind with my Saturn is that so wrong?

I can't believe you asked that question. Do you even know what the heater core does? All you need to do is go to Auto zone or whatever you got over there and pick it up. In most cars its behind the dash on the passenger side. Now for the overheating problem, it might be a different story. The heater core is only activated and takes anti freeze from the pump when you turn the heat on in your car.

Now the question stands. Are you overheating when you don't have the heat on and just drive around? Please decribe the overheating problem more.
