True the Irish were slaves in Ireland and mistreated when they first came to America. I'm part Irish and you don't hear me bitching but one of the reasons we honor St. Patrick once a year is because he was a slave who led a revolution in Ireland to free the other slaves.
The Irish had a drunken monkey image when they came to America back in the 1800s Immigration wave, it was legal to not hire them and back then they didn't act like pussies when discriminating against people, they had signs in company windows saying "No Irish need apply" and there was even a song written back then with that slogan as the chorus. There was actual drawings displayed where an Irishman was displayed as monkey drinking.
And think about it, within the white community, alot of times redheads (mostly of Irish origin) are seen as not attractive. You know when South Park parodies the ginger-hair freak stereotype it's true. And I'm a strawberry blond, often I'm told I'm pretty but other times I'm not
And even I don't always find redheads attractive, when it comes to the two British royal princes, the blondish-brown haired William always catches my eye and I like him best (I love him

) and the redheaded Harry just recently started to catch my eye some
And speaking of slavery according to the bible, the Israelites were slaves to the Egyptians and most of us know of the "Joseph and the colored coat" story, he had a lot of brothers and a father who didn't seem to love him so they sold him into slavery to the Egyptians. And to my knowledge he wasn't black, he probably looked middle eastern.
