So I've been posting in the shoegaze thread, and I mentioned that it's one of the genre's that I can always come back to regardless of what I'm listening to , but I also mentioned doom (and by relation, stoner/sludge) metal as also being one of those things. thing is, i've been on a huge doom/sludge/stoner stint for the past 2 eyars now, and I think its kind of getting engrained. So basically, I'm here to ask if anyone here listens to that heavy shit, and who maybe some of yr favorite bands are.

For me, anyway,I can't say I have one favorite, but there is definitely a 3 way tie for first: Electric Wizard, Boris, and Church of Misery.
