Infinite Spring

Winter's cold embrace gives way to springs loving caress,
New life blossoms everywhere I turn full of hopes and dreams of the young,

You feed my heart with love and nurture it with kindness,
the seeds of happiness have taken root in the soil of my life,

I've opened my eyes to the blue sky above and felt the warmth of the sun,
I now know why little plants push through the ground to reach for the stars,

So let's grow our gardens together darling,
I'll hold your hand and Winter will touch us nevermore.

I haven't written poetry in forever and I don't know if you could really call this a poem... but this is how I feel about a very special someone.
