He's right that you can't just assume physics.
But, what I think he's trying to show (albeit extremely crudely) is transfer of momentum.
And he really doesn't understand the nature of the collapse if he thinks it's comparable to two cars running into each other. It's a bit more complicated than that.
I'm not sure what point he's trying to prove, though I believe I know which argument he's trying to respond to which is the truthers claim of "the top part weighed a lot less....therefore would not be enough to bring down the whole building"
along the lines of stuff like, the guy who stacked plastic trays on top of each other...to prove controlled demolition. Or the guy who took a small cardboard box, and dropped it on a larger cardboard box in order to prove his controlled demolition theories.
So...to wrap up. I don't really know what point this guy is trying to prove.
