Even in our own history has it been witnessed that the biosphere is volatile. When the British originally went to Africa they nearly all died out because they didn't have the antibodies for the infections present there. And when they invaded North America they introduced smallpox to the First Nations people, devastating their population.

So true...but I can't but to speculate that their immune systems may be as advanced as the everything else that they're rumored to have.
Either that, or they aren't susceptible to most of this planet's viruses or bacterial infections. Ya know, kind of like how one thing that may be dangerous to a dog may not be dangerous to us? Perhaps what's dangerous to us isn't dangerous to them.
