So yes, I had mentioned something about this in a previous thread but I have since then made my final decisions.

I've posted this on my own forum several weeks ago and have decided now is the time to post this here.


I will be joining the marines this summer and hopefully be sent out for bootcamp in late August. I am doing it for many reasons. Besides those reasons I also hope to finish a great amount of schooling while im in as well as use the GI Bill once I get out.

So I will still be able to be on this forum for a good part of the summer, but obviously once I'm in bootcamp I don't know what will happen afterwards.

I'm leaving San Diego, CA (where I live now) on Monday, May 26 and will be driving back to visit my family in Iowa, which is also where I will be enlisting.



I Don't really expect any comments back, Just wanted to let everyone here know, as i'm a pretty frequent member of this forum.
