Well, if I remember correctly, tea has a ton of catechin polyphenols and caffeine which speed up the digestive process, which explains its recent boom in pop-culture. Caffeine, in general, can help lessen chances of getting parkinson's syndrome. Some tes contain EGCG, which can actually help with HIV therapy. Polyphenols can also help get rid of bad breath. Also, there are plenty of antioxodants in tea!

There are many other things positive that tea can do, but some things that people don't know are the negatives. Tea contains high levels of flouride. While one might think this is good for teeth, it can become toxic and cause colon cancer, renal damage, neurological probems. Tannin can cause esophageal and nasal cancer, oxolates can cause kidney damage.
