VIP members are members the are/loved but BT and have been her for a long time. Normally its members that leave the site or were mods.

Opu, I doubt yours would be gold yet since you have only been here for a year. Bio joined months after I did but it was still in the same year. I think she has probably been here for a year and a half because I am going on 2 or 3 in May...I can't remember if it started in 05 or 06 now.
