it was good, i enjoyed it. i read an article after the game where Brad Penny said that he was actually struggling during the game. which is really amazing because he seemed really good. but just goes to show how far Penny has come. his stats have been improving steadily from being a 'first half' pitcher, to being a year long pitcher.
but then again, the dodgers did play the Giants. beating them is not much of a great obstacle, but it is good to have a "warm up" game ^_^.
on paper, the dodgers have the most complete team in all of baseball, no argument. but that's just on paper. i just hope Jones can bounce back, Ethier, Loney, and Kemp can continue doing what they have been doing, and either Garciaparra, or LaRoche can be accomplish what is expected of them. if they do, they should be able to win the world series
