Warning: Disturbing Images US Soldiers Killing Dogs For Fun

So heads up, this stuff makes my stomach turn, and I've sat the whole way through 2girls1cup, BME pain olympics, some asian girl forcing herself to vomit, then eating the vomit, and, well, you get the idea. I've seen a lot of sick shit on the internet. This takes the cake. I've blabbered a bunch below, so feel free to contemplate if you want to view these videos as you read my response.

I've always liked animals more than most people, and this makes my heart break when I see this stuff. Not to say I hate the people doing it. These people are sick and suffering major PTSD (Post-Traumatic-Stress Disorder, formerly shell-shock if you're more familiar with that, although PTSD is not limited to war veterans). These are some of the lesser talked about repercussions of US military aggression and dominance. This is why this war is not and was never worth it imo. These young men in these videos have had their lives destroyed needlessly by a government invading a nation under false pretenses, and after doing the one and only thing we should of done, removing our own mistake (Saddam), we continue to impede their progress, brutalize their people (there's a video of soldiers throwing grenades at sheep herders), and slowly use them as a mere pawn to position ourselves for a takeover of Iran. Meanwhile, we still haven't caught the guy who supposedly started all this shit, and recently in a duh moment on Fox News, Bush stated he was beginning to doubt if we would catch Osama during his presidency (a;sljehglauwivznfvk is all I have to say to that).

But I digress.

This is not about violence vs. non-violence for me, and I am not trying to make it about that. I have taken a personal vow of pacifism, but that is my choice because of my own beliefs, and I recognize the value violence can have in certain situations. While I would never promote it, I can not condemn any behavior in self defense (or defense of another on behalf of those people). This war is neither defending us, nor is it on our behalf. I condemn the actions because of the motive behind them, which is slowly wearing through the thin facade of "fighting terrorism" and "defending liberty" more and more each day.

I am trained in the Mental Health field, and everyday I help manage a load of 10 girls, all diagnosed with various MH issues (over half are diagnosed with PTSD), but you don't have to be the next Siggy Freud to know that mutilating and killing animals for fun is a fucked up thing to do. These are anti-social, border-line personality traits. If these behaviors continue long enough, you end up with a sociopath. This is Ted Bundy shit we're talking about folks.

Again, I'm not trying to condemn the soldiers in this, just point out that we are not only putting them physically in harms way (which any war does, no matter what it is) but we are putting them at risk to emotionally scar them for life, to the point where they are no longer functioning in society. And when we have a bunch of PTSD strung out soldiers coming home to a collapsing economy, well, you do the math.

The latest stats are FIFTY PERCENT of troops coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan are being diagnosed with PTSD. I just learned this at a training I was at today for work (I left the source in my mailbox at work, but if anyone can't find this stat, I'll be happy to get the reference).

Alright enough of my BS. Here's the videos. The first is the original puppy video, then an infowars link with more videos.
