1. I was asking a question....
2. Yes, there "was" only one temple and they have never rebuilt it...
3. By the Old Testament, you ask for forgiveness when you sacrifice an animal to cover your sin for the year.
Well this wasn't just any temple, this temple was the literal site of God's presence in the world....now seeing as there was an animal sacrifice at this temple to atone for the sins of all of the Jews every year.....there sins aren't forgiven..
Also by extension because they do not sacrifice animals anymore to atone for their sins (because of not having a temple to do it in)....how are their sins being forgiven?
Because by scripture, you would stop the animal sacrifices after the coming of the messiah. Now seeing as the messiah has not come...that's a bit of a problem. So they are left with no temple, altar, sacrifices or priests....only Rabbi's (Teachers) and the synogogue where they meet at for teachings.
