I just wanted to know what people think of this from a Christian perspective. I have heard that babies are born with their parents sins and that is why they are often baptized at a young age. Since a baby can't be "sorry" for it's sins or ask for forgiveness would it automatically go to hell?
My next question is about severely retarded people. If someone is mentally disabled to the point of not even being able to understand religion would they go to hell? Since we would be judged because of our human life and have free will does that mean retarded people are also disables in spirit or just in body? The reason I ask about being disabled in spirit is I am curious to know if people think a persons consciousness could be naturally disabled in some way?
