Why not make a BT IRC channel, that could prove to be potentially interesting, although for the people that dont know how to work it, it may prove to be a little difficult. With the chatzilla extension though, it might be easier than having to download a separate client. Nice alternative to the chat, so what does everyone think?
irc://irc.rizon.net/%23beasttoast
(direct link to irc, should open with chatzilla when you click on it)
edit:
step by step:
download addon for firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16
after it has restarted go to Tools > Chatzilla
in the text box type /server irc.rizon.net and enter
in the text box type /join #beasttoast
that is all
Will put this on front page as well. Also, you can make it to where everytime you run chatzilla it starts out on that page, also you might have to create a nickname, but you can probably figure that out

To put this all in one, I'll reiterate that to get IRC and get to the chat:
download addon for firefox:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/16
After it has restarted go to Tools > Chatzilla
In the text box type /server irc.rizon.net and enter
Pick a nickname and switch to it using the command /nick yournickhere
In the text box type /join #beasttoast
To register your name:
Type in the text box: /nickserv register passwordhere e-mailhere
It will send you an e-mail at that address, which will have a confirmation code. It will go ahead and give you exactly the command to put in which will look like "/msg nickserv confirm codehere"
This will log you in, but next time you come in it will want you to identify, or put in your password, which is done by the command "/nickserv identify yourpasshere"
That will get you on and registered, There is more I could put, but I will work on it later.
[Should I just make a different IRC How to thread and we could sticky it so people can find it?]
