I agree that actions speak louder than words.
If only God would act, maybe I would find some credence to the claims his followers make of him.
"He loves you and wants you to be well"
"Really? I am interested in exploring this... have him fix my leg".
"Pardon?"
"If he's all powerful, get him to make it not hurt"
"Um..."
"Is there a problem? Come on, he flooded the entire planet and killed every firstborn in Egypt in a single night... are you telling me he can't ease my pain? Some benevolent father
he is..."
note: this is but one example of the numerous ways in which the Christian God has failed in my view.
