I've got a macbook, and its great. The only problems I ever have with it are either universal programs (like Firefox) or, especially, Microsoft programs (Office Suite is way fucking slow). Other than that, I've got no problems. I don't know which you have, a desktop or a notebook, but either way there is absolutely left clicking. Granted, its not "left clicking" per se, but I'm sure that you're referring to the resulting function of the left click, that being the pop-up menu. If youve a notebook, just tap with 2 fingers, and if you use a desktop, well program it you lazy bum. As for the bouncing up and down with no result, there are many programs that will run in the background naturally (last.fm) and also many that you may have toggled to not open immediately (I have iTunes set to this). Basically, I think you need to scope out the customization in system settings and get the hotkeys down. The macbook of mine that I refer to is my first ever mac computer product, and it took me maybe a week to get fully used to it. After that short adjustment period, I have no real qualms with anything mac-related (COUGHCOUGHCOUGH WINDOWS COUGHCOUGH) and can't even begin to think about switching back. Give it some time.
