The Lord and Lady is the God and Goddesse.
Some people choose to call there dietys Lord and Lady because haveing to choose from them can be a little overwhelming.
There are thousands of them each with a diffrent name from all over the world. If you were to feel a connection with the Greek Pantheons then you would start to learn all about them. Or if you feel a pull towards Celtic pantheons or Norse Pantheons then you would want to learn about them and work with them.
For example i work with the lord and Lady in all rituals being grateful for all the things in my life because there isnt one paticular dietie i can thank because i dont honestly know who to thank. Only when i do sabbats do i choose an idividual one.
But if i needed to guidence i would call to a perticular God or Goddess for example today i need to be a strong woman and be wise, so i will be calling on Athene Goddess of of wise counsel, war, the defence of towns, heroic endeavour to keep me strong and to not speak foolishly.
I dont useually call to any in paticular because me personally i dont think it wise to do it. esspeciaslly the Greek Gods they can be a bit terrifying at times lol. Some will only use diffrent dietys and never just see them as the lord and lady.

They represent any God or Goddess you choose to invoke, depending on the type of spell you are casting or ritual you are performing. some people just call upon their chosen God or Goddess to guide them through troubles in everyday life but some may become a little too dependent on one or two of them, which is not wise. explore all the different God's and Goddesses around and when you feel settled with a few it will become easier to invoke them to your needs.
